Techinical difficulties
So todays show started off like every other show... Rob (MTM Director) and I got here WAY to early to get things ready for the show... but the real "fun" didn't begin until right before the show. We were in black (Not a good thing in the TV business) for about 45 minutes before we went on the air. The printer was out of toner (thats like a pilot flying blind) so both Rob and I can't read our scripts.... and as soon as the music begins for the show to start... I realize I am teasing the wrong stories (the stories from yesterday mornings show!)
That would be awesome if that is all that went wrong.... but the snowball kept getting bigger!
Marc didn't have a TV screen to do one of his weather reports and Jon Arneson almost had to go without the teleprompter AND his scripts during one of his reports. Good thing we have such an amazing production staff... they just went with everything and most of the problems, I'm hoping, you didnt even notice at home while you were getting dressed this morning!

Apartment Water Explosion
Hi Everyone!
So this is my first blog... EVER... not sure what to expect but if Kyle (our internet guy) begs me to write one of these one more time I am going to go insane :) so here it goes.....
My day starts way too early every morning... I go to work at the same time some of my friends are getting home!! Today was out of the ordinary though... I woke up to fire engines at my apartment complex.... right in front of my friend and co-worker Casey Conlons (Q2 Weekend Sports Anchor) apartment. I didn't think too much about it, but an hour later when I was about to leave for work, I text messaged Casey to see if he was ok. He called me immediatly!! Apparently he was sleeping and awoke to firefighters in his bedroom... and I thought WHY CANT THIS HAPPEN TO ME!! :) Just joking... They had tried to knock, Casey didn't respond... tried to knock again and then used an AX(!!) to break open his door.... KEEP IN MIND CASEY IS STILL ASLEEP! He finally woke up to Firefighters in his bedroom (I laugh everytime I imagine this!) Turns out something on his balcony exploded and water was gushing like Niagra falls off his balcony and flooding the other two aparmtents below his! I stopped by for a second to see the damage (fortunately not a lot in Casey's Apartment...but unfortunately his neighbors probably have a mess to clean up). Just think all of this happened before you (most likely) woke up.... What a start to a day!
